[DESIGN, TYPE, THEORY]
Typography meets 3D
Lateral thinkers like we are, we often leave the conventional track to achieve completely new standards (for me it’s objective design/art but you can take it as you want).
Innovative design explorations, as far as I know now, are all about the production pipeline issue:
implement something that falls ‘outside of the subject area’ like 3D-techniques in typography which traditionally is something to create in 2D. Understand my approach?? You could apply this technique to every creative process and everytime you create something absolutely new like e.g. chair design dramatically changed with the possibility of bending steel pipes.
Maybe the above ‘type”-rendering is not the best to illustrate this approach but I think it works okay. You could even take my CozyFurniture collection as reference to consider this case.
Sounds all like a manifest?? — take it as a manifest!
Should be revised in the near future though.
